Submit or Join a P&R Project!

Look at the CURRENT LIST OF PROJECTS 1st to make sure your idea is new or to Volunteer.

If your idea is new, please enter it to be considered by the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Donations towards projects are always welcome and must meet the
COMMUNITY DONATION POLICY. Selected ideas will be worked in a prioritized list according to the following process:

1. March 1 through March 31 applications will be accepted.
2. Throughout April the P&R will review, organize and determine which projects warrant verbal/in person presentations from said applicant.
3. Throughout May the P&R will discuss and vote on which projects will be given attention in the upcoming fiscal year.
4. Throughout June the P&R will work with applicant to be ready to move on project and have all moving parts able to be solidified, concluded.
5. July 1, the P&R along with the applicant are ready to begin the project.  Noting that not all projects will begin in July if the project does not begin in July by July a plan is in place and all contractors, etc. are solidified and hired for/on the schedule for,  later months.
6. Projects requiring CPC or CPIC funding approval must have a complete plan so they can be submitted in late Sept/early Oct. Work will begin the following July.
