Open Meeting Law

The Open Meeting Law requires that most meetings of Public Bodies be held in public. It provides for openness and transparency in government and seeks to balance the public's interest with the government's need to manage its operations efficiently.

The law provides guidance on Public Bodies, Posting Agendas, Executive Session, Deliberations, Remote Participation, Meeting Minutes and Open Meeting Law Complaints.
