Welcome to the Community Resilience Working Group (CRWG) pages. The CRWG is a subcommittee of the Planning Board and was formed in late 2019 in response to the ongoing need to engage in Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program work and also to consider ways to address environmental criteria and sustainability at the municipal level.  The Working Group is currently meeting frequently to work on elements of a local Climate Action Plan. Phase 1 of climate action work was adminiatered by the original MVP Subcommittee of the Harvard Energy Advisory Committee and that work was completed in September of 2019. In 2020, the Community Resilience Working Group was formed initially to meet the challenges of a newly received MVP Action Grant intended to facilitate the development of an Agricultural Climate Action Plan plus an outline and tools for the development of a complete plan. In late 2020, a second MVP Action Grant was received for a regional project with partners Bolton and Devens for the Apple Country Ecological Climate Resiliency and Carbon Planning and Assessment Project intended to evaluate natural systems and develop nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation in the town.

This page will provide documents related to the work of the CRWG including minutes, agendas, other key materials, and important links. Please visit regularly
