OCPF CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTING OVERVIEW
The Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF) requires that all Candidates for public office (whether successfully elected or not), Ballot Question Committees and incumbents file campaign finance reports. There are several reports due on an annual basis, consisting of "8th Day Preceding Election", "30 Days After Election", and "Year-End Report". In addition to filing these reports with the Town Clerk for local elections as a public record, any report detailing $1,000 or more in receipts or expenditures must be published on the town website. While not all reports published here detail that amount of financial activity, all OCPF reports filed with this office are published on this page, as recommended by the Office of Campaign and Political Finance.
